It was very productive.

On Sunday I spent the morning talking with my mommy. She even made me pancakes and listened to me wail about school. She is the best mommy. I left my mommy at about 10:00 to get myself back to where I needed to be. I was on University Avenue in Provo when I noticed a police officer following me. He proceeded to pull up next to me, and look over right into my eyes. Of course I gave him a little smile (which he probably thought looked like a guilty smile) just to watch him get back behind me and turn his lights on.
I don't get pulled over. I did once for speeding, and since then I try really hard to abide by the laws of the land so the scary police men don't have any reason to hate me. Needless to say I was either going to throw up, faint, pee my pants, or do a combination of the three. I shouldn't have gotten that upset because what came out of his mouth quadrupled the tragicness of the situation.
"Ma'am, can I see your driver's license please. You match the description of someone who has a warrant out for their arrest. If your birth dates don't match you can be on your way, but if they do..." And then he gave me the LOOK. Like the "You better start praying because I'm going to throw you to the prison Madames."
I was so scared I almost died. Like quite literally a heart attack.
He kept me waiting and sweating for approximately 3 minutes when he returned with my license saying, "Thank you for your cooperation Ms. Johnson. You can be on your way."
All of the drama for a little "you can be on your way". How lame! I almost died.
There is some good to come of this though, someone out there who looks like me, is living the life I sometimes wish I did.
P.S. I'm glad I didn't get thrown to the prison Madame.
Auntie Meg says, "I love you." It's because I tell her like seven thousand times a day. Because I totally do love her! Yay!
Here I am on the first day of school with my new backpack, water bottle, and the most essential first-day-of-school apple.
I started playing with my good friend Kari kind of a lot. Here we are having a romantical time on top of the library.
We are kind of crazed when we are together, but we certainly have lots of fun!
In September we went to the fair, and I found myself on display there several times! The BFF Em had entered some scrapbook pages into the fair, and lo and behold, there my face was on the wall. Her Wicked page even one a blue ribbon! Woot! My face won a blue ribbon!
(Okay more like Em's hard work won the blue ribbon, but my face was on it! :))
I also love love love love love to eat cotton candy, and I got a big one there.
I went home to the P-town for Thanksgiving to play with the fam. Look at this ever-so-pretty apple pie my domestic goddess of a sister made. She is ever so talented.
Emily heard tale that Wicked tickets would be going on sale on December 12, and because we love Wicked so much it might kill us, we decided to brave the cold and wait out wickedly early in the morning to get our hot little hands on some of those tickets.
We got the the line at about 5:00 a.m. and it was already more than half way around the Salt Lake City block.
We were a little nervous about getting tickets with that many people waiting, but luckily the internet site went down and the phone lines were super busy, so after 8 hours, 6 times through the soundtrack and lots of fun new people met, we did indeed walked away with the tickets!
YAY!
I am so excited I can hardly wait to go!
Thanks Em. You are the greatest!
Standing in line for 8 hours should definitely not be that fun, but it is when you are with Em!
My greatest parentals sent me a final survival kit for finals week complete with chocolate and even a little bit of cash for all those late night coffee runs (okay so it was probably coke).
Thanks mom and dad! Love you!
I once again ventured down to P-town for the Christmas holiday, and had a lovely time with the fam. We had our Christmas Eve party, less in numbers than usual, but still complete with our talent show. Here I am signing Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
I'm NOT flipping you off. I promise.
We did mix it up a little bit by donning some of Grandma's clothes. :)
We had a great time.
Christmas day we got to play with Nathan, Katie, and Josie on the webcam, and then had a pretty low key day with lots of naps.
It was a loverly time.
I finally got around to making that gingerbread house on like January 3. Here it is. :)
Kari didn't want to finish decorating hers so I got to do that one too. :)
I definitely made a very large mess. Thanks to Sarah the roomie for helping me clean it up! :)
I had been working at Sorenson pretty much through all the holidays, so I decided I might reward myself with a little trip. I got to Pittsburgh last night to visit my brother, sister-in-law, and niece. Here she is this morning during a little Auntie Meg love time.
