I have the very bestest friends and family! I didn't just have the most wonderfullest birthday in America, I had the bestest birthday WEEK in America! Who gets a birthday week? ME! I love it. Here are the highlights:
On Sunday, November 2, my roommate Sarah

gave me this wickedly awesome bracelet she bought for me when she was in Seattle. She was on vacation and thinking about me! I knew she loved me. :) I love the bracelet ever so much! It is made out of colored shells and it makes the coolest noise ever! Thanks Sarah!

(Please don't look too carefully at the arm hair. Sorry about that. :))
The birthday fun resumed on Tuesday with Emily. She took me to dinner at the Melting Pot. Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh man! It was possibly the yummiest thing I have ever eaten in my whole life. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! We decided that the Melting Pot is going to be our birthday tradition for the rest of our lives. I am ever so excited about that prospect! :) First, Emily came over after work and she was cold, so while I got ready she curled up in my bed and played Hearts.
When I was finally ready we took some pictures of how we cute we were all ready to go out to a fancy restaraunt. The results of the picture taking session are posted below for your viewing pleasure.
She kept making this face in all the pictures, when I didn't even know it.
So then I did it to her. :)
Our "come hither" faces.
Our snotty faces.
Our happy time faces.
More happy times.
Our love time faces. Love times are my favorite times with Em. :)
So after we finished taking a million pictures of ourselves at the house we decided it was time to go or we would miss our reservation. We took trax downtown to the Melting Pot.
This is Emily's shock at how much FOOD was on the menu.
This is my delight at the same thing.

We had spinach artichoke cheese. It was possibly the best thing I have ever ever ever tasted. I would definitely reccomend this kind.

Em hates brocolli but because it was my birdthday she so nicely let me put it in the pot. Isn't she the bestest friend ever?

The lady told us that the meat should be cooked for two minutes. We had to get out the timer on my phone to make sure that is was getting cooked long enough.

I kept losing the stuff off my fondue forks. No bueno. (That means no good for our non-spanish-speaking friends.)

Emily never thought hers was cooked enough, so she put everything back in with her fork.

That is the meat. The brown stuff on the right is duck meat. Sick. I didn't enjoy the duck. I just kept thinking about all the little duckies at the pond by my house. I did have one bite but it wasn't for me.

THEN THE CHOCOLATE CAME! We had the turtle chocolate which is caramel and chocolate and pecans. I was in heaven. You can tell Em was too by the look on her face. :)

Thanks for giving me the best birthday present ever Em! You are the greatest BFF a girl could ever ask for! :):):):):)
The extravaganza continued on Wednesday when my roommate Jenny gave me these earrings.

They pretty much match everything I own, and I have worn them like seven times since I got them. Thanks Jen for being so sweet!
THE BIG DAY! Thursday the 6th was officially my birthday. I had to work all day, but my mommy

came up for a conference and took me to lunch at one of my favorite places, Souper Salad. She brought me presents from the fam including

and

If anyone wants to come over and watch it, I am in any time. I've seen it three times already. I think my roommies are sick of it, but oh well! :)
She also brought the present Skate had gotten for me which including tickets to DISNEY ON ICE and the NKOTB cd. She is the bestest sister and I will definitely have to post pictures after we see the show on Saturday. :) More to come on that later.
Now here comes the best part. My mom, who is oh-so-talented at pretty much everything she ever does, made me a cake. Now, this was no ordinary cake. It was shaped like a purse! With handles and everything! And instead of putting C's on it for Coach or something, she put M's for Megan Marie! WOOT WOOT! She is the greatest mom ever!

Not only was it the cutest thing I have ever seen, but it was also tasty! Thanks mom for being so thoughtful and giving me the best birthday cake ever! You are the best mommy a girl could ever want! Love you!
After work, I got to talk to Nate and Josie on the phone. She is the sweetest baby ever, and I can already tell she loves her Auntie Meg best. :) They called to wish me a happy birthday. Thanks Nate for thinking of me! Love you!
The action continued later that night with little Kari. She came over to the house and gave me a beenie she had made and the cutest card ever! I am looking forward to building snowmen in that hat. :) She took me out to dinner at Famous Dave's restaraunt.

I got the yummy pork

and the waiter talked her into getting something called rib tips.

This is what her face looked like after she ate them. Needless to say, she ended up with yummy pork too. :)

Our waiter's name was Deandre. He kept us in the restaraunt for like two hours, by not giving us our check. We found out later it was because he was getting up the courage to two pretty girls to a party later that night. :) (P.S. The pretty girls were us.) We thought, "Sure! Why not?", got the address, and bid him farewell until later.

We got all dressed up to go, and headed up to the party. When we got there, before we went in we called just to make sure that we were in the right place. (Don't worry mom, just keep reading.) We found out that most of them were already drunk, and we decided it wasn't our kind of party, so we went home. :) (Aren't you proud mommy?)

These are some pictures of the place it was at.

This is a ghetto car that was parked out front. I'm really glad we didn't really go. :) It was a fun adventure though, and I am so glad Kari was there to have it with me! We always have fun adventures when we're together. :) Thanks Kar for such a great birthday night! I heart you!
Friday after work, I headed down to visit my littlest sister in Cedar City. I got there just in time to go to the big game with her and her roommates. It was such a fun time and we won too! :)

After the game, we went to Winger's with a whole bunch of peeps and they brought me and another friend Heather Asphalt Pie for our birthdays. It was ever so yummy!

The next day, Lauren and I ate this wonderful birthday cake for breakfast. Isn't it pretty? It was a very yummy breakfast.

(Remember we had just gotten up, so don't judge the way we look.)
That night we went to Chili's for a fourth (or am I on fifth?) birthday celebration. They brought us a yummylicious chocolate shake for my birthday. I love birthdays. There is always so much free dessert involved. :)
I had a very fun time with Laurs in Cedar City. She gave me the cutest pair of red earrings that I am totally going to wear next Saturday when the U beats BYU. :) Thanks Laurs for helping my birthday week extravaganza be the bestest! You're the best sister a girl could ask for!
On Sunday I headed home to my parent's house to switch cars back with my mom (I had taken hers to Cedar City, isn't she nice to let me do that?). I found out that my precious daddy

had put new tires

on my car! He is so the greatest! Don't you think? Not only did it have new tires, but it also had a full tank of gas.

I have the best dad ever! He always knows just what to do to make you feel like you are the most important. I love him so much!
After hanging out and eating dinner (thanks mom!) with my parents, I headed home to the WVC. My roommate Amber had planned a little party for me with the peeps in my ward. She also had made a beautiful two-layer, round chocolate cake. It looked like it came straight out of a magazine! We had such a fun time! Thanks Amber for throwing a great end to the birthday week extravaganza! You're the best!
I just want to say thanks so much to everyone who made this week the best week ever! I have the greatest family, and the best friends! You guys are AWESOME!
